This application ("Haarnewsome Smart Home") is a personal, non-commercial smart home automation system built on Home Assistant. It integrates with Google Assistant to enable voice control of smart home devices. This privacy policy describes how data is handled when using this integration.
This application collects only the minimum data necessary to facilitate communication between Google Assistant and the Home Assistant instance. This includes device state information (such as whether a light is on or off) and voice commands routed through Google Assistant.
No personal data is collected, stored, or processed beyond what is required for the Google Assistant integration to function. No analytics, tracking, or telemetry data is collected by this application.
Device state data is used solely to respond to voice commands and synchronize device states between Google Home and Home Assistant. This data is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than smart home control.
